Government Should Position Youths On The Path Of Greatness - Bada Of Otaland
The Bada of Otaland in Ado-odo Ota local government of Ogun state reinstated the need for government at all levels to position youths in the country on the path of greatness.
Responding to questions from a news hunt after his installation as the Bada of Otaland by the Olota of Ota Oba (Prof.) Obalanlenge, High Chief Adewale Obawole stated that there is the need for government at all levels to position the youth on the path of greatness in the country.
He pointed out that the youth constitute 60% of the entire population of the country, so there is the need for the government to position them on the path of greatness which will make them stand out among their peers.
The Bada of Ota expressed dissatisfaction with the level of unemployment in the country adding that youths in Nigeria are talented and gifted if given the opportunity to explore their gifts.
He added that he is fully determined to help the youth to grow in the society as part of his responsibility to his immediate environment by creating jobs for the youth with his investment and adding value to their lives.
He spoke on his installation as the Bada of Otaland stating that he will continue to brainstorm with critical stakeholders in his domain to engineer programs that will position Ota on the path of greatness.
Bada of Ota described the Olota of Ota as a resourceful Royal father that desired the development of his domain, pointing out that the university professor turned Royal father is a straight forward monarch that is focused and determined to achieve success in all ramification.
He further emphasised the need for the people to give him the required support for him to continue to enhance the potentials of his domain. Chief Obawole enjoined the youths to get involved in politics and make necessary adjustments in governance in the country, design a short and long term economic planning that will create a brighter and rewarding future for generations yet unborn.
High Chief Adewale Obawole is a graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago-Iwoye, who passed out in flying colours from the department of accounting.
He travelled abroad to obtain a professional certificate, worked abroad and also engaged in private businesses like importation of goods into the country.
Happily married to a beautiful damsel and blessed with children, he is very intelligent, progressive minded, humble, easy going and has passion for human development.
He is not as rich as Aliko Dangote but the little resources in his disposal are being used to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged, through self help projects.
